Infant & Tot Water Safety Lessons

What are Infant & Tot Water Safety Lessons?

These lessons are a fun approach to learning water safety for the 6 - 36 month ages.
Infant water safety is for 6 - 18 months and Tot water safety is for 18 - 36 months.
A parent or guardian leads the swimmer in different activities as an instructor guides the group. These lessons are offered in monthly sessions at the Rec Center warm water pool. Swimmers need to be "double wrapped" with dual swim diapers to participate. See more info below.

How to "double wrap" your swimmer:

A dual swim diaper system is the best way to keep our water clean and safe for programming. A swimmer wears a disposable swim diaper under a reusable/washable swim diaper with leg cuffs. The leg cuffs are a big part of what keeps the diaper secure during the swim lesson.

We have tried other products this year, and the clear winner is Splash About's Happy Nappy.

We will have these on hand for purchase closer to the end of August. More details coming soon!

Any gently used, odorless, and stainless Big Elephant swim diapers will be accepted for a credit of $5 off your new Happy Nappy.

Please email info@rochesterswimclub.com if you have any questions!

How do I register?

All registration for swim lessons is done online through Captyn.

The button below will take you to the registration website.

You will need to set up an account for yourself and add each swimmer as a "profile" on the account. This can be done before or during registration.

The registration has filters to help you select only the programming offerings you wish to see. These are very helpful to use when you are searching for specific types of lessons or specific dates and times.
